MannVahan Services ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our partner drivers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the MannVahan Partner mobile application.
Background Location Tracking - Important Disclosure
Why We Collect Your Location in the Background
The MannVahan Partner app collects your device's location data even when the app is closed or not in use for the following essential purposes:
Core Service Features:
- Matching with Riders: To connect you with nearby riders requesting trips in real-time
- Navigation & Route Tracking: To provide turn-by-turn navigation and track your route during trips
- Trip Verification: To verify pickup and drop-off locations and calculate accurate trip distances
- Earnings Calculation: To accurately calculate your earnings based on distance traveled and time spent
Safety & Security:
- Rider Safety: To share your real-time location with riders during active trips for their safety and peace of mind
- Emergency Response: To quickly locate you in case of emergencies or safety incidents
- Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent activities or misuse of the platform
- Dispute Resolution: To resolve disputes about trip routes, pickup/drop-off locations, or fare calculations
Platform Optimization:
- Service Availability: To show riders when you are online and available for trips
- Demand Forecasting: To understand high-demand areas and optimize ride allocations

When Location is Collected
Background location is collected:
- When you are online/available to accept trips
- During active trips (from pickup to drop-off)
- When you have accepted a trip and are heading to pickup location
Note: You can stop background location collection at any time by going offline in the app or by disabling location permissions in your device settings.
Your Control
You have full control over location tracking:
- Toggle Online/Offline: Background location tracking only occurs when you are online/available
- Device Settings: You can disable location permissions at any time through your device settings
- Notification: You will see a persistent notification when the app is tracking your location in the background
- Data Retention: Location data is retained for 90 days for trip verification and support, then automatically deleted
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
When you register as a partner driver, we collect:
- Full name and contact details (phone number, email address)
- Profile photo
- Government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Driver's License, etc.)
- Vehicle registration details and documents
- Bank account or UPI details for payments
- PAN card or tax information (for compliance purposes)
1.2 Location Information
As described in detail above, we collect:
- Precise Location: GPS coordinates when you are online and during trips
- Background Location: Continuous location tracking when the app is in background mode and you are online
- Route Data: Complete trip routes from start to end for navigation and verification
1.3 Device Information
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- Mobile network information
- App version and usage data
- IP address and device identifiers
1.4 Trip and Earnings Data
- Trip details (pickup/drop-off locations, distance, duration)
- Earnings and payment history
- Ratings and feedback from riders
- Online/offline status and availability hours
