Welcome to MannVahan. By downloading our app, registering an account, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. About MannVahan

MannVahan is a technology-based ride-hailing platform that connects riders with independent partner drivers offering bike and auto-rickshaw rides in Maharashtra, India. We act as an intermediary and do not directly provide transportation services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use MannVahan services.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• MannVahan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Account & Registration

• You must register with a valid mobile number or Google account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately at support@mannvahan.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. Booking & Ride Services

• Ride requests are routed to nearby available partner drivers. Acceptance is at the driver's discretion.
• Estimated fares shown at the time of booking are indicative; final fare may vary due to route changes, waiting time, or tolls.
• MannVahan does not guarantee the availability of rides at all times or in all locations.
• Riders must be ready at the confirmed pick-up point at the scheduled time.
• Excessive wait time beyond the permitted limit may result in cancellation of the trip by the driver.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Riders may cancel at no charge at any time before a driver accepts the ride.
• Once a driver has accepted, in-app cancellation becomes available only after a short waiting period shown in the app. Until then, riders may cancel by contacting support.
• Repeated or abusive cancellations may attract a cancellation fee.
• Refunds for eligible cancellations or overcharges will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
• MannVahan reserves the right to withhold refunds for fraudulent or manipulative behaviour.

6. Payments

• Payments can be made via cash, UPI, or other methods supported in the app at the time of the ride.
• You agree to pay the full fare as shown at the end of the trip.
• MannVahan is not responsible for payment failures caused by third-party payment gateways, bank issues, or network errors.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

7. Conduct & Responsibilities

7a. Riders

• Treat partner drivers with respect. Any abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour is strictly prohibited.
• Do not request rides for illegal activities.
• Do not carry hazardous, illegal, or oversized items that may endanger the driver or others.
• Wear a helmet when using bike-ride services as required by law.

7b. Partner Drivers

• Maintain a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, and insurance at all times.
• Treat riders with courtesy and provide safe, clean rides.
• Do not deviate from the agreed route without the rider's consent.
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

8. Safety

• MannVahan performs background verification on partner drivers; however, we cannot guarantee absolute safety.
• Users are encouraged to use the SOS / emergency feature within the app if they feel unsafe.
• Do not share your OTP with the driver before boarding the vehicle.
• MannVahan is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during a ride; insurance coverage, if any, is governed by applicable law.

9. Ratings & Feedback

• After each completed trip, riders and drivers may rate each other.
• Ratings must be honest and based on actual experience. Manipulating or gaming the ratings system is prohibited.
• Consistently low ratings may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the platform.

10. Promotions & Referrals

• Promotional offers, discount codes, and referral rewards are subject to their own terms and validity periods.
• Abuse of promotions — including creating fake accounts to redeem offers — will result in account suspension and forfeiture of rewards.
• MannVahan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotion at any time without prior notice.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on the MannVahan app and website are owned by or licensed to MannVahan. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

12. Privacy

Your use of MannVahan is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

13. Limitation of Liability

• MannVahan is a technology intermediary and is not liable for the acts or omissions of partner drivers.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, MannVahan's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific ride giving rise to the claim.
• MannVahan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MannVahan, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

• MannVahan may suspend or permanently terminate your account at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason it deems appropriate.
• You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting support.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

16. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhule, Maharashtra.
